The Mystery Solved

So, for those of you who know me – you know how much I love bargain shopping, especially when it comes to second-hand clothes! (Don’t worry I won’t go into all the reasons that second-hand shopping is the better way to go;) Anyways, I have always wondered what happened to all the clothes that did not get sold at Value Village or Goodwill. Well I have discovered the answer to that mystery: they end up in Honduras! Not kidding. I went shopping today, looking for some shirts and capris. Low and behold the tags from VV and Goodwill are still on the clothes in some of the secondhand stores. So for all you environmentally-conscious the clothes do not go to landfills, but instead end up in countries like these.

Oh and the above commentary passes NO judgment on how people dress down here. You can still get some nice stuff.

yeah, that's how I got my clothes, and shoes, and well... a lot of things. it's like 3rd hand clothing, the best kind.

we should experiment and see if we can get clothes that will make it to you through that route.
