Last Day of School....

Life is changing again:
1) Noel left this morning to return to Canada...bye Noel.

2) Yep - it's ALMOST offical. I am nearly done my first year of teaching! Where on earth has the time gone? Aside from spending another week teaching the students who did not pass my class this year (another policy where some students don't work all year and then can write one test and their final grade for the year is in that one test.) I am dreading it. I have to teach the last 5 months in 5 days. Great.

And as I sit on my porch and write this I am watching people set up for the kindergarten graduation (really going over the top - very lovely decorations - but ALOT of work). Tonight is the first dinner of the Grade 11 graduation (there are two - but due to a long chain of events involving corruption, bribery, phone calls, complaining, and power trips, etc. - the second dinner which was scheduled for the 13th of June is now on the 26th of June - LONG story) so it seems that I won't even get to be here for the offical graduation! Which is too bad.
