In science we are discussing the stages of development for a baby inside the womb.

I had my students write their thoughts on the question: "When does life begin?" or "When does a baby become a person?"

Here is a response from one of my students: (quoted directly)

"When does the life begin?
When you do the, you known, and the sperm meet an egg."
