It's official....I'm staying.

Hello dear friends,

I want to start off by thanking you for your prayers for me - both for the big decision of whether or not I should stay - and just in general while I am away. So yes, you probably guessed it: I have decided to stay for another year. And I am SUPER excited about this too - though slightly nervous...

It was not an easy decision to make - basically it came down to where my time has and will be best invested. And I have put a year into this school and these students - and I think another year would be really worth the investment. I am especially excited because of the relationships I am forming with my co-workers, students, and other friends: both white and Honduran. I am also excited to learn Spanish and be able to communicate better with people. (Side prayer request: please pray that I would have the courage to practice AND that I would find people to practice with.) I don't think it will be easy either - especially because I miss my family and friends. Plus, the more I teach the more inadequate I feel.

Please remember to keep me in your prayers - and if you have time to drop me a note PLEASE DO! I really appreciate a word from people who I don't see.
