Greetings....

One of the most frustrating things about not being able to communicate well in another language is that sometimes you are limited to exchanging greetings...and that's it.

Those of you who know me know that when I ask the question "How are you?" I actually WANT to know HOW you are doing. The problem when it comes to spanish is that I cannot really KNOW how people are doing when I say "Como estas?" because most people just reply "Bien." and we move on. Which makes me sad - because I really want to know how people are doing - but lack the vocabulary.

At least music is a language that is understood in all cultures!

I have to practice - music and spanish.
