Subject: Tarantulas
Most people believe the hairy good-sized beast to be poisonous - but the ones here (at least in Honduras) are not poisonous. However, I have been warned that the hairs on the tarantula might possibly have detrimental effects IF THEY ARE RUBBED INTO YOUR EYES> I repeat: do not pick up tarantulas and rub them into your eyes.
