Oh Delicious Irony...

As I write this....dozens of dogs are barking in the background, the sky flashed occasionally lightening (which is quite frequent in this season) and I am sitting outside the school office in the open getting eaten by misquitoes (it is the only way I can access the internet)/
So, you are looking at the new grades seven, eight, and nine, science teacher¬ Yeah, you read that right. And yes, my undergrad was in history and religion, and I am now in HONDURAS teaching PE and science. HA. Whoda thunk?
Another busy day of meetings....we are going on week 2....where we decided that there should be one discipline system across the entire school....and low and behold we know have schoolwide detentions! Yes, this is how much work needs to be done in the area of educational development. I am continually amazed at how much work and thought, time, and consideration gets put into running a school. I wish I had appreciated my teachers more at the time, but I am greatful that I get the oppurtunity of experiencing what they go through.
